That's it!!! This baby is Moonbeam Tree hugger.
If hubby and i have one more conversation about dang names i think i'm going to explode. We have a boy name picked and a girl name picked...but it was NEVER set in stone and i ALWAYS told hubby that we may change our minds -- ie. i might change my mind. So, as we're getting closer and closer to finding out, i have been practicing the names, saying them out loud, making sure they flow, etc. The girl name is a family name on hubby's side...no biggie, but it's unique and people who don't know how to say it will mis-pronounce it and spell it wrong. So, why give our daughter that hassle, when we can just shorten it up and waaaalaaa- issue diverted. But, NOOOOOOO, it's not what hubby wants.
I'm sorry, are you the one who had to do daily shots for weeks on end? HMMM? Are you the one who had to watch your body change right before your eyes? HMMM? Are you the one who's body was effected by hormones from those daily shots? NO??? Oh, so i suppose you also weren't poked and prodded for a problem that also wasn't yours....RIGHT, i forgot....all you had to do was squirt your junk in a cup. Soooo painful.... woe is me. Yes, i did totally pull the shot card out and reminded the hubby that as a mother, i should have a say in my daughter's name.... PERIOD. And if i don't like the one name, cuz everyone will spell/pronounce it wrong, i like the nickname, let's just name her that, she's still named after the family member... geez!!
Now, the thing i should point out here is that we STILL DON'T KNOW what we're having...so really, having this discussion on names is a mute point.... the girl's name won't be an issue, if we're not having a girl.
So, whatever, i'm naming the kid, Moonbeam Tree hugger. Or better yet, i like the flow of Tree hugger Rhubarb.
